Airport
Israel’s main international airport is located in Tel Aviv and is called Ben-Gurion International Airport (TLV). The airport is located about 12 km from central Tel Aviv and about 40 km from Jerusalem.

Crime
Tel Aviv is a very save city but usual warnings is also not ignored. Beware of suspicious packages and people around you. Police is very friendly and most of them speak understandable English. Although crime rates are very low in the city a tourist should also keep a lookout for pickpockets. Keep your belongings save and never leave it unattended. Also keep your passport and documents at you all times as Israeli police will stop you and check your documents.

Tel Aviv has Mediterranean climate, which means that summers are hot and humid with unpredictable autumns and spring. Winters are cool and rainy. Temperatures in the winter ranges between 7˚C and 20˚C while temperatures in the summer ranges between 24˚C and 30˚C. Heat waves normally occur during spring with temperatures reaching as high as 35˚C.
