Make use of railraod, boat services, taxi services, bus or even by foot. The city also contains a healthy amount of restaurants, cafés, coffee shops, bars and pubs for any local or visitor with delicious food to indulge in. Leeds also features a variety of clubs suitable for the young adults looking to socialise and enjoy good music. Known as a friendly city, Leeds has its share of crime and normal caution should be applied when visiting the city.

Like any other city in the United Kingdom, Leeds experience typical Oceanic climate with little change of temperature through-out the year. For a few days every year Leeds is covered in snow and severe frost is common. The warmest months (shared between July and August) are known for an average high of 20˚C and temperatures have exceeded 30˚C. The coldest month is February and has an average temperature of 0.2˚C and has experienced a temperature of -5˚C.
Rainfall averages about 660mm annually due to the Pennines mountain range, which protects it from winds coming from the Atlantic. An average of 147 days of rain, in the form of light drizzle, can easily be experienced while heavy downpour occurs during late spring and early summertime. Floods and hurricanes are very rare – almost non-existent.
