General Info

When traveling to Zurich and you are not a European citizen, you must have a Schengen Visa if you want to stay for longer than 90 days. If you don’t have this visa you will get a very high fine (around 8100 Euros) when trying to leave via Zurich airport after 90 days.

Weather

Zurich has a continental climate and temperatures are easily modified by winds off the Atlantic Ocean. Summers tend to be hot and sunny, while winters are cold. In January the temperatures range between -10 ºC and 5 ºC, while in July the temperatures can range between 15 ºC and 30 ºC with June to August known as the wettest months.
