Driving on your own is an option, but familiarise yourself with the local driving signage and be careful when driving during winter as the roads are covered with ice. If you are visiting Canada during winter, be sure to pack ALL of the following: a winter coat, hat, scarf, gloves, wool socks, thermal underwear and boots with treads.
