The city
Las Vegas, also known as “Sin City” and “The Strip”, is one of
America’s fastest growing metropolitan areas. This synthetic desert
oasis wonderland has something for everybody; you do not have to
gamble to have an excuse to visit. Las Vegas offers booming nightclubs,
lush spas, restaurants with renowned chefs, trendy boutiques, exhilarating
roller coaster rides, informative museums and wildlife preserves.
Most of the action happens in “The Strip” where all the glam casinos
are, but downtown you will still be able to get a glimpse of “old
school” Vegas.

Getting around Las Vegas is quick and easy. Taxis are plentiful
and there is a wide variety of public transport to choose from;
there are double-decker public buses, a monorail system, and even
free tram shuttles between selected Strip casino hotels.
If you visit during the winter months (October through April),
pack a jacket and long pants, it can get rather chilly especially
during the evenings.
Carry enough small bills to tip all the attendants.
Wear comfortable walking shoes if you plan to explore the Strip
