Weather
Atlanta enjoys a mostly mild year-round temperature, although summers can get hot with temperatures reaching high the 30s°C. Winter is from December through February and it is wet and cold, with temperatures dropping below zero occasionally. During spring and autumn the days are warm and the night pleasant.

Atlanta is a big city and with that follows crime. Be sure to store your valuables in a safe place and ask your hotel which areas you must avoid.

If you decide to drive on your own make sure you have a good map because Atlanta can be very confusing to newcomers. If you are not that brave the city has a good bus and light-rail system that runs through the core of Atlanta.
When visiting during the hot summer months, pack a sun hat and a good sunscreen to protect you from the harsh sun.
