Weather
The Portuguese weather is Mediterranean making it one of Europe’s warmer destinations. The northwest of the country has mild winters, a high rainfall, and short summers with and average of 13°C. In the south summers are warm with low rainfall during spring. Temperatures average at 18°C. In the southeast of Portugal, it can get as hot as 40°C during the summer (May to October).
