Hong Kong is located in a tropical zone and is occasionally subject to monsoons and tropical storm. The weather is generally cool and dry from December to February. Summer in Hong Kong is from mid-June to mid-September during which the weather is hot and humid. November through April is the best time to visit this bustling city when temperatures range between 14°C and 25°C.

The best way of getting around Hong Kong is the MTR underground railway. You can buy an Octopus stored value card and use is on the MTR underground railway, minibuses and ferries.
Pack comfortable, non-slip shoes, the older parts of the city has cobblestone streets and steps that get very slippery when wet.
Mosquitoes are a nuisance all year round so remember to bring along a good insect repellent.
