Weather

Hong Kong is located in a tropical zone and is occasionally subject to monsoons and tropical storm. The weather is generally cool and dry from December to February. Summer in Hong Kong is from mid-June to mid-September during which the weather is hot and humid. Pack comfortable, non-slip shoes, the older parts of the city has cobblestone streets and steps that get very slippery when wet.

Mosquitoes are a nuisance all year round so remember to bring along a good insect repellent.
