KLM, the national airline of the Netherlands, was founded in October 1919. It is the oldest carrier in the world still operating under its original name.

The KLM fleet consisted of 113 aircraft in October 2010. They are currently in the midst of major fleet renewal program.

Checked baggage allowance according to classes:

  • Economy Class – 1 x item max. 23kg max. 158cm (L + W + H)
  • World Business Class – 3 x items max. 23kg max. 158cm (L + W + H)

Weight allowed on-board

Hand baggage according to classes:

  • Economy Class

- 1 bag measuring 55 x 25 x 35 cm and may not exceed 12 kg

  • World Business Class/Europe Select

- 1 bag measuring 55 x 25 x 35 cm and may not exceed 18 kg

Seating

KLM offers business class and economy class on all of its aircraft. On longhaul aircraft, a third class called 'comfort economy class' is offered.
