History
Japan Airlines International Co., Ltd. (JAL) is an airline headquartered in Shinagawa, Tokyo, Japan. This flag carrier of Japan was established in 1951, and became the national airline of Japan in 1953.

Japan Airlines operates 168 passenger planes with a mixture of narrow- and wide-body aircraft.
Baggage
- First Class : Total weight should not exceed 40kg
- Executive Class : Total weight should not exceed 30kg
- Economy Class : Total weight should not exceed 20kg
- For infants not entitled to a seat : Baggage with total weight not exceeding 10kg, plus 1 fully collapsible stroller/pushchair or infant's carrying basket or child seat.

Carry-on baggage should be limited to one piece with linear dimensions not exceeding 115cm. Total weight of the such articles should not exceed 10kg
In-flight baggage restrictions
Carrying knives of any kind aboard the plane is prohibited by law, and offenders will be fined up to JPY500,000. Scissors, knives of any kind, blunt instruments such as golf club and baseball bat, articles with an extremely sharp, and other articles which can be used as a weapon cannot be brought into cabin. Passengers are requested to put these items into the checked baggage beforehand.
