History
Air Namibia was established in 1946 as South West Air Transport and renamed Namib Air in 1978. It operates scheduled domestic, regional and international passenger and freight services.
Destinations:
Over 36 destinations worldwide. Convenient connections to over 17 European countries through Frankfurt. Regionally they fly to 5 destinations in Africa. Domestically we fly to 5 cities within Namibia.

Fleet
In May 2010 the Air Namibia fleet consisted of the following aircraft:
1 Airbus A319-100, 2 Airbus A340-300, 2 Boeing 737-500 and 4 Beechcraft 1900D’s.
Baggage
Air Namibia allows per passenger, 20 kg for Economy Class and 30 kg for Business Class passengers. Infants not occupying a seat are entitled to a free baggage allowance of 7kg.
